Did you know that you could easily lose $5,000 to $20,000 on your home sale if you let an agent with mediocre marketing list your home. Or…that if you're using conventional real estate website to search for a home you're missing out on 30-40% of the listings. I've been selling real estate since 2006 and none of my clients have had a foreclosure or short-sale. I never put people into a position that they can't handle.
If you like old-school customer service with the best marketing and website available then you'll love working with me.
I can save you money and time with the most effective marketing and analysis. Be sure to check out the videos on my website to see how working with me is different than a traditional agent. Learn about how to exploit mls data feeds in cross listings, how to use HD photography to get thousands more during your sale, and lots of other tips and tricks to get a better deal on either side of the transaction.
Core Bio: Being a successful real estate agent is quite simple. Learn how to listen and interpret, then show people exactly what they are looking for. From my experience, people want an agent that has the answers to their questions and information about the community, not someone trying to SELL them a property. I provide my clients with the highest level of customer service and discretion. As a lifelong resident of the Inland Northwest I have a true understanding of my community's past and future. I specialize in out-of-state buyer representation, waterfront, luxury, and residential sales.
Do you support any charities: My parents brought be up while supporting charities like Children's Village in Coeur d'Alene, and most recently my father was involved with the Mobius project in downtown Spokane.
As a student at Willamette University I created, hosted, and generated funding for an event called "Wine and Wishes" which was a art donation / sale combined with a local wine tasting, it raised about $5,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. My last involvement with a non-profit in Coeur d'Alene was a donation purchase for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for children.
I was lucky enough to grow up in a very stable and loving family environment and I realize many children do not get this experience, or anything close to it. During my time in Ecuador (2003) I re-organized a non-profit for "Los Ninos de La Calle" (The Children of the Street) to generate donations procured from local businesses. It was a huge success and in some ways even more heartbreaking, but I'm glad I put in a few months. During April of 2011 I spent a month teaching English in Peru, which was a dynamic and challenging experience where both myself and the students learned a lot.
Specialties: The Inland Northwest Market is too small to actually "specialize" in only one niche, but I will say this…nearly every client or prospective client that has met me in person (or on a long phone call) has chosen to do business with me. I am ruthlessly honest and extremely blunt about the positive and negative characteristics of specific homes, builders, neighborhoods, and general locations. I work in all price ranges and treat all of my clients exceptionally well, I've sold properties from $40,000 well past $1M. Clients are never "locked" into a contract with me, I earn business and maintain it with exceptional customer service.
Interest and Hobbies: I've had a passion for rock climbing since I started back in 1997; through the years I've climbed routes all over the Inland Northwest, California, Oregon, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Morocco, Italy, and Croatia. When I was at Willamette I was the president of the climbing club and cycling club. Recently I've started road biking again and I'm thrilled to be doing it.
Education: BA from Willamette University in 2005 with minors in Psychology and Spanish. Alum of Gonzaga Preparatory School.
